Ross Baker is a composer and musician from the UK who has worked under the name Second Thought since 1999. Second Thought's music combines electro-acoustic, contemporary classical, ambient and IDM styles and is distinctive for its focus on piano and field recordings. Between 2004 and 2011, five albums were released, each soundtracking a particular imaginary landscape, alongside a number of short experimental side-projects, on such labels as FSOLDigital, AmbientLive, Jerky Oats, Bump Foot and many others. From 2012, Ross Baker intends to record solely under his own name.
