Story behind the song
Inspired by Ben Bova's short story of the same name. Ordinarily the military least wants to have the others know the final details of their war plans. But, logically, there would be times... Just having some fun with new soft/synth sounds and my Fishman TriplePlay guitar synth. Sounds used from Magix, Native, and IK Multimedia Instruments. Abby Road Drum Kit, Standup Bass, B3 Organ, Electric Violin, Viola, Cello, Baritone Sax, Soprano Sax, AmpliTube Guitar modeling, and Samplitude Reverse FX.

Michael, This is an interesting and beautiful composition and your musical performance is the best. The way you apply Mathematics and Timing , with every note of any instrument you play is quite ingenious. And you always manage to keep feeling and emotion in your music. I get an education just reading your song pages. You are extraordinary

I’ve been hearing some good things about the “Fishman Triple Play” lately. I can see why. A library of synthesized instruments emulations on your strings. Wow!!! This track is a superb blend of splendid musical elements mixed and produced to precision Michael. So enjoyed the improvisations in this fusion track...

Wow, Michael, This is very surprising and I think, very spontaneous and inspired. Very busy and nervous as well, but I like that power in it. That kind of craziness. I'm just listening a second time, trying to catch what is happening here, and it's a lot. Ah, that organ is giving a kind of retro feeling, going back to the time of the progressive rock. I really enjoyed it, this is something new. Good job!
A challenging piece to be certain, reminds me of Jean-Luc Ponty. Still trying to wrap my brain around it, so I best have another listen!

Fantastic production and highly dramatic vibe to this track. Very interested to read the story that inspired this piece of music, the imagery that is created fits the plot perfectly. Very impressive work - would make a first class movie soundtrack.

Very cool track. Great production! Maestro Michael D's fusion fest is well underway with this addition. Great bluesy/fusey rhythm/bass (cool intro) track overlaid with jazzy melodic fishman infused improv lines. It's a real nice track Michael! I can see the CC Jazz Fusion Challenge is going to be a smoker with some great artists stepping up to the plate.

Love the sounds and playing here, Michael. Some of the tones that you get using the Fishman are so authentic sounding that they're amazing. Nice!

The Jerry Goodman (Mahavishnu) feel came to me hearing this! Super runs/performance and wonderful scale-work. It's like the song from Maestro Mclaughlin's Mahavishnu band I haven't heard before. It was a great joy listening to this one my friend! Love it.
